Microsoft Revenues Down
In a dramatic move Microsoft the computer giant in the United States has reported a fall in revenue for the first time in a history span of 23 years with a 5.6% loss. This resulted in the drop in net income by 32%.Among the worst hit segments’ it was the client revenue which was the worst hit. Another major factor for the drop down in profits is the Microsoft’s investment in online service business which has lost about 1.5 billion dollars in the last nine months. The server and the tools division however increased their revenues which resulted in increase in profits about 0.2 billion dollars.
