Montgomery Advertiser - Mayoral candidate Scott Simmons said he is ignoring "offers" meant to entice him to drop out of the race.

Elections Director Trey Granger said Wednesday that Simmons came to the Montgomery Election Center on Monday to discuss his options before the March 10 special election, specifically "what his options were in regard to suspending a campaign" and details on how long he would have to retire his debt.
